Friday 25th June 2021 L/O: To develop an effective film marketing strategy. Tenet the genre of the film is action, because there is fighting scenes, explosions, guns etc... The audience is probably people that like action films. The trailer is linked to the poster because it has the main character. Q1: They advertised Joker and some other films because they all have the same genre (action). Also they might of had the similar movie size (35mm and 70mm). Q2: The marketing in india was different because its a different country and the audience there are different to what the audience is like where the movie was made (america/New York). Also in india or anywhere else in the world there are different people with different preferences of action films. Q3: They realised the trailer in 2019on the TV because its an effective way to advertise there films If they realised Tenet at the same time as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the Joker.
